Jennica has been working in the Canadian film industry for more than a decade. Her work includes feature screenplays, TV pilots and spec episodes, and produced short films. She has been commissioned to develop TV pilots, series bibles, and one-off documentaries, and has been hired on a number of occasions to rewrite feature screenplays. Jennica also acts as a story editor for other writers.

Most recently, she was on the writing staff of the Showcase series Shattered, starring Callum Keith Rennie, and is currently at work on the second season of the sitcom Mr. Young, which has since become one of the network’s highest rated shows. In 2010, Jennica was hired to adapt Arcana Studios’ comic series The Clockwork Girl into an animated feature film, which is currently in production and features the voice talents of Jeffrey Tambor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Alexa Vega, and Brad Garrett.

Jennica has done a variety of online work over the years, including the acclaimed web comedy series Naomi The Show, a motion design video A Brief Guide About Bridesmaids for top bridal retailer The Dessy Group, and the video and web copy for Perfect the Way We Are, an online campaign promoting thoughtful voting in the 2008 Canadian federal election.
