Jennica Harper

Jennica is an accomplished poet whose work has appeared in numerous literary journals throughout North America. She has two books of poetry in print: What It Feels Like for a Girl (Anvil Press, 2008) and The Octopus and Other Poems (Signature Editions, 2006).

In 2008, Jennica’s poem “Liner Notes” was a finalist for the CBC Literary Awards; in 2007, her poem “Autumn Detail” was featured on Vancouver buses and SkyTrains as part of the Poetry in Transit project; and in 2003, her long poem “The Octopus” was shortlisted for a National Magazine Award.
